Madison Bead Show this weekend.
Thursday, March 25th, 2010This is just a reminder that the Big Bead Show is this weekend at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. The show is open 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 Sunday. Diakonos Designs will be right next to Midnight Moon in the first row on the right as you enter the show. As usual there’ll be tons of great beads and findings throughout the show for all your upcoming beading projects.
At the Diakonos booth they will be featuring new clay bead designs along with new resin-filled bezel mini-masterpieces highlighting original art by Kathryn Vaughn. They also have an array of new beads from Jon Sutcliffe, who was recently featured in BeadStyle magazine and some value-priced original sterling silver pendants from Mona Semerau. (more…)

In this unique psychological thriller, written by Sam Bobrick, two stories unfold simultaneously in the same space but in different time frames. Maura and Scott, a couple, meet while serving jury duty on a murder trial and get romantically involved with each other. As their relationship develops, they discover they adamantly disagree on what the verdict should be. At the same time their story is being played out to it’s frightening climax, Jan and Tom, another couple who have just met, weave through their unusual relationship that strangely enough has ties to the same murder case. “A wonderfully crafted story, the mind-bending plot keeps you on the edge to its chilling denouement”. Tickets can be purchased at www.stoughtonvillageplayers.org or Thrifty White Pharmacy or McGlynn Pharmacy.
