Merry Christmas
Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008Well Christmas is here and another holiday season is drawing to a close. I hope that you enjoyed it. I know that you missed some good times here in Stoughton during December. The biggest was Victorian Holiday. It’s always the first weekend in December, so look for it next year. You can check out this years schedule at victorianholidayweekend.com.
The norwegian horses taking you on a ride around downtown
The Stoughton chamber singers performing at the Victorian Ball
The New Event The Bed Races. This is the first year that we held this race and already have entries for next year. The racers had a good time but I think that the spectators (hecklers) had even more fun.
The rest of the month there were singers and musicians and sales all up and down main street and choral concerts at different venues. I’m looking for it to be busy at the Naeset-Roe Inn next year so book your room early.
Well I think that is about it for right now. I have enjoyed hosting those who have been here this last year and look forward to meeting you at Naeset-Roe Inn in 2009. Happy New Year.

It’s a Juried Art Show featuring over 30 fine artists from southern Wisconsin.
So don’t sit at home. Get out and enjoy the fresh snow on the ground. Maybe take a trolley ride or a wagon ride, do a little Christmas shopping in our unique stores, and see great art in Stoughton Wisconsin.
