Guest Arrival: Check in is any time after 3 pm. Call ahead to arrange for arrivals after 9 pm. If you get here early please take the opportunity to visit some of the wonderful shops and galleries along historic Main Street. We ask for approximate arrival times. If you are going to be late, please call to assure someone will be available when you arrive.

Check Out Time: By 11 am. Late checkout is available for an additional charge.

Security: For the security, comfort and privacy of registered guests, we do not give house tours. Unregistered guests may enter with prior approval from the innkeeper.

Coffee service: Coffee is available on the dining room table at 7:30 am. It’s nice to take a cup out to the porch in nice weather and read the paper and listen to the birds.

Breakfast: Breakfast is served at 8:30 am. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. Please mention any diet restrictions the night before. I’m especially concerned with allergy reactions. I do include seafood for breakfast sometimes. If that is a problem speak up.

Baths: All rooms have private baths in the room with a shower and tub.

Phone: There is a house phone for local calls.

TV/Stereo/CD/Alarm Clocks: All rooms have TV’s with DVD players. DVD movies are available. HD TV only in rooms. Satellite TV available in the first floor parlor. The house has WIFI, ask for code. All rooms have CD players and CD’s are available. Alarm clocks with radios are in all rooms.

Smoking: The house is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the porch. There is an ashtray for your convince.

Pets: We are a dog friendly facility. Please call for availability and prior approval. We only take one dog at a time. We do have a sheltie named Zack if you need a fur fix while you are here.

Children: For the comfort of all our guests only children 15 and over are welcome. Midweek exceptions possible. If you book the whole house, children of all ages are welcome in your party.

Payments: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash or check.

Two Night Minimum: For some holidays and some local events all rooms have a two night minimum and a 30-day cancellation policy. Single rooms are available all other nights.

Cancellation policy: Reservations are held with a credit card or first night paid with cash or check. Cancellations require a 14-day notice. If paid, a deposit will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee, for cancellations prior to the 14 days. Cancellations made during the 14 days before your stay are subject to full charges for the reservation. If the room is rebooked you are only responsible for unbooked nights plus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations are only final after an email confirmation of cancellation has been sent.

Rates and Prices: All rates and prices are subject to a 5.5% state and county sales tax and 6% city room tax. Prices may vary or be inaccurate on other website quotes or advertisements. Rates are guaranteed for 6 months from date of rental. Prices are subject to change thereafter.

Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are available all year long. They may be purchased for a specific room stay or a dollar amount toward a room. You may order gift certificates online. I do send you, by snail mail, a hard copy gift certificate. If you need a last minute gift, call and I can email you one to print.

Weddings: The parlors are available for small wedding ceremonies of up to 10 people for a $75 charge. The dining room may be used for a standup reception for your party of 10 for a $50 additional charge. Please call to make these arrangements. I also can give you information on a justice of the peace that can perform your ceremony.
